As an artist, I paint fun photo-realisim. As a faux painter and muralist, I paint what my clients envision. That means a variety of finishes and designs. It’s both challenging and fun!
I’ve been designing, decorating, and creating room solutions for homes and business areas most of my life. My education started in childhood from artistic parents ( Joe Durrett and Barbara Mc Fadyen ). Later I attended various colleges including NYC Pratt Phoniex, NYC School of Visual Arts, Atlanta College of Art, Art Institute of Atlanta and private tutoring. Then I worked in creative fields like Coastal Printing, Manhattan Model Makers, Roy Wright Photography, Schoolzone Publishing and Signature Theater.
I’ve published in Europe and here in Georgia with Atlantas’ Jezebel Magazine, CD covers including Vic Waters, and created three panels, celebrating another artist, for the first AIDS Quilt on pernament display in The White House. Through Pena Haku, I focus on the exciting designs of designers, homeowners and children to transform frumpy to fabulous. What’s your vision?
